To anyone who still cares, I am a father with 2 daughters one in college and my other in high school. I went to Iraq did a year then when i returned i thought everything was the same as i left it. But now my world was turned up side down money gone, no one working and bills gone crazy i dont see away out. At this time, my wife collects ssi, i have a job if you want to call it a job, but it pays for somethings. I can see in my kids eyes they see the hurt im going through, trying to make things work. This is the frist time i havent been able to give my kids anything for Christmas, they tell me dont worry about it, i do because of the money problems i came home to. Ive looked for help but the help i have contacted our nice people but want money upfront for anyhelp. Im looking for help, i dont care if its advise. Hell i understand this is a bad year for alot of people, but how hard is it for the ones that had help and made it through this mess with pockets full. I they didnt have help hell they would be writing this dam help letter to. Any way if there is any help out there and can help in anyway please advise.  Thanks  Merry Christmas.   Ron

I am writing in hope's of finding help for my father. He is 77 years old and been retired for a little over 10 years and also has the early stages of dimentia. I'm gonna try to make a long story as short as possible. I am is daughter by the way. Let me start off by saying he has never been the type to go into debt for anything, he always taught me if you can't buy it with cash you don't need it. About I would say nopt sure of the exact date but probably 12-15 years ago he allowed my son and his girlfriend to stay with him which was the biggest mistake ever, but he hhas always been the type to give the shirt off his back. Anyway they stayed with him a few years and in the meantime mostly when he was at work they got loans in his name, wrote checks from his account, stole money from him and the worst thing was coning him into taking out a mortgage to get out of the financial mess that they actually got him in. With the promise they would help to make all the monthly payments. Never happened of course well he finally made them leave but not early enough. Now he is in the worst financial mess I have ever seen. His bank account is minus every single month and has been for a couple of years now. If it weren't for him being such a long time customer with them it would have ben closed by now. I have now moved in with him and at first we were able to make it ok, but I had an accident and lost my job and I am on disability and will never work again. I draw 674.00 a month and he draws 1255.00, which wouldn't be to bad if we didn't have a 500.00 a month mortgage payment to make and all of the other bills including household and medical. Each month we pay just enough to keep the power, water, and phone from getting disconnected. All are behind and have been sometime now. In all our bills come to a little over 1300.00 a month not including food and gas and medicine. If we weren't behind I know we could manage. But it's like once you get behind you can't no matter how hard you try to catch back up. We can't really live without power and water, we have thought about disconnecting the phone but that's only 50.00 extra dollars which does help. The only thing that keep's me from doing that is his age and an emergency. I'm not asking for a million dollar's just hoping maybe for enough to get everything caught up or even just a small amount. Whatever anyone could donate would help so much and be greatly appreciated. I keep praying for a miracle and I know it's coming just not sure when. I would love to see my father completely out of debt and be able to enjoy retirement for a change. If anyone even just has an idea I would be more than willing to try it. We can't get food stamps, we can't get a loan, I have tried free grants which is bull by the way I have tried so many different options I don't know where else to turn. We even tried to sale the house for 2 years but with the economy in our neighborhood no one is hardly buying And I would hate to see him lose something that him and my mother had built back in 1965. She is not with us anymore by the way thank the lord for that. But if she was still here my son and his gf would never have lived here in the first place. If I had been here back them they wouldn't of either. And before anyone even say,s where is he make him pay. I couldn't even tell you where he is. We have not heard from him or seen in in over 6 years. I am glad I found this place and I hope to find some help or at least a path to help us. Hi, My name is Heather and my fiance and father of my two young daughters passed away recently. My daughters are Destiny who's three and Serenity who is two.My youngest was born with a congenital heart defect and i'm so lucky to still have her. I writing because as you can imagine things have been tough both financially and emotionally and with the holidays coming up and one less income i'm afraid my children are going to suffer further than what they have already been through. well they called today about a payment and i just don't know what to do i don't get much ssi a month i am just worring so much and stressed and don't know what to do please can anyone help me i need $900.00 but any help will be greatly appirated please and god bless you

if anyone could help..i have a wife a 5 yr old ang 12 yr old ..we were going ok intill our lives got twisted upside down.our old landlord told us we had 30 days to find a new place that the hose was sold. we tryed the courts n they couldnt go anything because we had no lease and the landlord told the courts he told us mts before..he never did..so we were able to find one we applied for ssi because i need a liver transplant and my wife well she mentally isnt well ..so i get my first check in june..she still has to wait.we really just need help intill june our rent is 850 a mt not including our bills.thats about 200 a mt .ive worked my whole life and i feel bad asking for anything but now this landlord is trying to work with us but theres only so long she can wait..my family isn't around and hers well her mom was helping but she is now in the hosp.she has cancer speading threw her.we just need help with this mt and next then ssi will pay us so we can pay everything but my landlord still needs the money for this mt and next we all ready got a notice of not paying rent..and we just want a stable place for our  children.and living in a shelter isnt very stable so please any help will go a long way.thanks for taking time to read this ...  please god help us find someone to help just for 2 mts

Williams and I am currently going to be a student at SDSU( San Diego State Universty) to study business Management.I need help paying for housing i come for a low income home and not good enough credit for loans.Anything will help even info leading to some one or organazation that can be of aid will do. I know this may seem a little strange that I am writing you, but to me this seemed like it may have an impact on how my life will be.  I am a hardworker and need a break for once. I know i can make it and i know i will i just need a little help getting there. Promise to keep in touch with any one who can hep or can even lead me to help.  Its a big jump for me and financially it seems impossible.  Ive worked so hard to come as far as I have with always putting people before myself. Participating in athletics such as Track and Basketball. All I am asking is for a little help financially with housing.  You may think this is a complete joke, but I give you my honorable word  and if you knew me and talked to the ones who do know me, they would tell you the same. I need to be able to pay for housing for up to a year in hopes of getting a scholarship to help out the following year. even the smallest info would help. Please write me back. Hi I am single female that lost my job due to down sizing. The job market is very bad right now, and i need help to pay my rent.  I am going to kicked out very soon and I cant even get buy food and things like that.  If anyone can help i would love it.  I dont have anywhere else to go.  I am looking very hard for a job and I hope that one will come along soon.  The reason I did not put my real name on here is because I am embarrassed that I have to ask for help. I do live in Burlington, NC

I'm not exactly sure how to even start this as we have always been self sufficient until now, but, here I go. My husband and I have been through alot of things in the last 2 years including living through Hurricane Katrina, but losing everything we owned, including our jobs as they were washed away with the water. We've always relied on God for the things that we have needed even through the storm, we didn't ask FEMA for a thing, we got a little bit of help from the Red Cross right at first to keep us all from dying of thirst and starvation. This includes our children.  We have struggled since the storm and the rent has more than doubled because there is so little property that wasn't damaged or completely washed away only leaving slabs, where homes use to be. In December of 2006 I had a major car accident that almost killed me, I haven't been right physically since the accident. We have no insurance for medical bills or prescriptions, without the medication I am unable to walk from the major pain, caused by the damage to my spine and pelvis which has 4 breaks, both hips are out of place and have fluid on them where they go into the hip joint. I can't do anything about it as I don't qualify for any type of state insurance because I haven't been diagnosed as totally disabled yet by the state of Mississippi. Without being able to see the right Doctors there is no way for that to happen. Just to see any specialist or pain management Doctor it costs $ 305.00 for the initial visit, that is the price without any tests or medications. ANY and I mean ANY financial help is so badly needed, $1.00 in an envelope or how much ever you feel right about sending would be such a blessing. PLEASE HELP WE REALLY DO NEED IT!

   I can't find him because he got deported. He has a beautiful daughter that he never seen. I need money to pay for her items she needs. Does anyone know how or where I can get help?I l ive with my mom so PA won't help. I am a 19 year old mommy. Any help or advice will be appreciated.  Thank You SOOOOOO Very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
